The Burlington Office of Veterans Services and the Burlington Allied Veterans held the annual Memorial Day observances on Monday, May 25, 2009 with the flag raising on the Town Common at 8 am and the ceremony held at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Burlington remembered the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall Memorial's visit to Burlington from July 18, 1999 to July 25, 1999. The host organization was the Burlington Marine Corps League.
