The Burlington Office of Veterans Services and the Burlington Allied Veterans held the annual Memorial Day observances on Monday, May 26, 2014 with the flag raising on the Town Common at 8 am and the ceremony held at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Burlington honored and remembered the 70th Anniversary of the Invasion of Europe ~ D-Day, which was June 6th, 1944.
