Summer Concert Series
Performances will be held on Tuesday evenings on the beautiful Burlington Town Common from 6:30 to 8 pm. Unless otherwise noted, all performers are sponsored by the Burlington Parks & Recreation Department in partnership with the Simonds Trust. In the event of inclement weather, check the status of the concert by visiting one of our social media platforms. A decision will generally be posted by 3 pm.
The Continentals: June 28 sponsored by Wegman’s
For over four decades, the Continentals have rocked out across New England! Head on down to the common for their pop-rock style of music!
Classic Trax: July 5 sponsored by Greenwood Dental
Classic Trax has entertained New England for over a decade, playing classic hits of yesterday and the best Trax of today! The Classic Trax band consists of Greg Swartz (lead vocals and percussion), Paul Giovine (drums), Pat Wallace (guitar and vocals), Spencer Hargis (bass and vocals) and Steve Pratt (keyboards, sax, guitar and vocals).
Fast Times 80s Music: July 12 sponsored by Stride Fitness

ABRAXAS is the ultimate tribute to the music and spirit of Santana. Inspired renditions from over five decades of Santana hits and virtuoso instrumentals, veteran guitarist, Ed Antonelli pays tribute to the sound and the feel of Carlos Santana.
Renee and the Renegades: July 26 sponsored by Stride Fitness
“Renee Leavitt is the real deal,” said legendary rock n’ roller, Gary U.S. Bonds. Renee starting singing at the age of three and entered her first contest at the age of eight, finishing in 2nd place overall. Leavitt is building upon her fan base through her songwriting abilities, catchy tunes, pure voice, poised stage presence and her “girl next door,” blue eyed, strawberry blonde, country look.
4EverFab: August 2 sponsored by Wegman’s
4EverFab was conceived in 2012, but their first live performance was in 2013. Since then, they have played more than 200 shows. 2022 marks their tenth year together, still with the four original founding members. They have played at some pretty amazing venues including the Plainridge Park Casino, the Cabot. St. Theater, the Stonewood Tavern, the Simple Man Saloon and the Topsfield Fair.
Moose Juice: August 9
Moose Juice plays the best of Grateful Dead with some pretty impressive surprises!! No performance is the same, you will never know what they will play next.

Ben Rudnick & Friends: June 29
Drawing on original songs and traditional material, the band seamlessly integrates classic Americana with their own unique sound. It’s kids, it’s families, it’s music… live music.
Reptiles Rock!: July 6
Reptiles Rock, the Rainforest Reptile Show’s most popular and unique presentation engages children of all ages at hands-on level. Reptiles Rock includes a mini zoo set-up with 10 to 14 smaller animals such as bugs, frogs, snakes and lizards to look at. Plus, the fun and informative presentation by a Rainforest Reptile herpetologist with 4 larger animals. Throughout the presentation there will be opportunities for volunteers to come up and assist. After the program, everyone will have the opportunity to handle one of these amazing reptiles!
BJ Hickman: July 13
New Hampshire magician BJ Hickman performs audience participation, comedy magic shows throughout New England including New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and throughout America including the famous Magic Castle in Hollywood. Family Entertainment!
Tom “T Bone” Stankus: July 20
Tom "T-Bone" Stankus is an American musician based in Bristol, Connecticut. He is known for performing comedic stylings with his acoustic guitar. Most of his songs and programs are geared towards children. He is most noted for his song "Existential Blues," which heavily references the 1939 Wizard of Oz movie and was featured on the Dr. Demento: 20th Anniversary Collection.
Toe Jam Puppet Band: July 27
Rockin' puppet band for KIDS and their grown-ups based in New England.
Mr Aaron: August 3
Where the musical fun never ends! Mr. Aaron performs new songs, kid favorites, and also demonstrates new and exciting instruments.
Bryson Lang: August 10
Bryson Lang is a Comedy-Manipulator. He takes both ordinary and out-of-the-ordinary objects and literally spins them into a visual tapestry in a distinctive and dynamic way. At Bryson’s show you’ll see: flying sombreros, sharp sickles, huge spinning rings, upside down bounce-juggling, giant beach balls, glo-in-the-dark objects, a tennis racquet and always a few surprises. The Press of Atlantic City said, “…quick-witted comedy with mind-blowing juggling skills, Bryson Lang's act is a sight to behold!"

Animal Adventures: June 30
We’re the standard-bearer for exotic animal education, having traveled the northeast and beyond for almost 24 years! Our presentations are led by senior zookeepers, and include an interactive presentation, fun facts, stories, and up-close animal encounters!
David Garrity, Illusionist: July 7
"IllusionQuest" is an exciting, family-oriented, main-stage, magic and illusion spectacular! Illusionist David Garrity and his magic team appear out of thin air, perform lightning fast transpositions and may even make someone from the audience float in the air! Another highlight of the performance is when David teaches a member of the audience how to perform the classic, 'Cutting A Lady In Half' illusion. The performance also features audience participation, situational comedy!
Les Julian: July 14
For his song-writing, recordings, producing and performance, Les Julian has been awarded a Grammy Certificate, a NAPPA Gold Award, a Parent’s Choice Gold Award and an American Library Association Notable Recording for Children. Les has entertained thousands and thousands of children and adults in hundreds of shows! His performances showcase his award-winning original songs and illuminate universal themes of human life while celebrating the diversity of the world through a variety of musical styles.
World Class Frisbee Show: July 21
Frisbee flipping has been part of American pop culture for over 50 years. Across the globe, the popularity of Frisbee sports has never been greater. Now you and your group can watch a master of the craft and also learn and improve your freestyle skills. This simple space age object will bring fun and excitement to any group or class. Students will be inspired to play more Frisbee, be active, be self-aware and continue to discover.
Whiz Kid: July 28
Imagine a performance full of foam-spewing, robot-racing, exploding fun! That’s what Whiz Kidz brings. Children are awed and amazed with the variety of interactive, entertaining demonstrations that Whiz Kidz provides.
Johnny The K: August 4
John's dynamic and inspiring programs for young audiences (as well as Moms, Dads, and Grandparents) balance timely messages of environmental conservation, cultural diversity, positive behavior, self-esteem, and drug abuse awareness with music, dialogue, visual props, and lots of audience participation. John's first recording, Party in the Park, was a winner of the prestigious Parents' Choice Gold Award. In regard to this recording, Parent's Choice Magazine says: "For giggles and fun, it would be hard to beat this snappy, teasing grab bag of children's music favorites. John's vocals light up this top quality musical treat."
Lindsay & her Puppet Pals: August 11
Year-round, Lindsay brings her larger-than-life Puppet Pals to child and family audiences across NH, MA, and ME. Funny, fast-paced, and interactive, this variety show delights the young and the young at heart!
