Welcome to the Town of Burlington Treasurer/Collector department.  We strive to provide taxpayers, town departments, employees, retirees, and the general public with a high level of prompt and courteous assistance. 

Our mission is to provide efficient and timely collection of all monies due to the Town of Burlington.  We safeguard all funds of the Town of Burlington, issue debt as authorized by Town Meeting, fund expenditures, and oversee payroll and benefits for town employees and retirees. 

Payment Options


Online Payment Options: 

  • Use our secure payment portal Invoice Cloud
  • Electronic check (ACH/EFT) - will incur a $0.40 fee, that is less than the cost of a stamp.
  • Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Venmo - will incur a 2.99% convenience fee (minimum fee $2.95).  

Mail in Payments: 

  • Included in the bill is a self-addressed envelope to our lockbox service.
     PLEASE NOTE: In July of 2025 we changed providers, changing the mailing address as well.

Your Bank’s Bill Pay Service: 

  • If using your bank’s bill pay service, please be sure the mailing address is updated.  The correct address can be found on the enclosed envelope and on the bill itself.
  • Please note the CURRENT BILL NUMBER on the check.  Bill numbers change annually.
  • Using an incorrect bill number or address will delay the processing of your payment.
