Government Review Committee

Strengthening Burlington's government structure to better serve our residents, today and into the future.  

The Burlington Government Review Committee (BGRC) was established by the Select Board in May 2025. Our mission is to evaluate the structure of Burlington’s town government to ensure it is appropriate, effective, and accountable for residents and constituents.

As part of this work, we will provide recommendations to the Select Board and Town Meeting on potential updates or changes to Burlington’s organizational framework, always with the goal of strengthening transparency, efficiency, and service to the community.

The Government Review Committee meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month.
