SHINE (Serving Health Information Needs Of Everyone)

This service is available to assist and inform elders of their rights under Medicare; to help elders decide which health insurance will work best for them, assistance with drug plans, to help with sorting out medical bills that are received and to make appropriate referrals to various agencies or to the COA's outreach worker for assistance.  

Shine counseling is confidential and free of charge.

Minuteman SHINE counselors are available on Tuesday afternoons by appointment.

During Open Enrollment in the fall appointments are available on Thursdays as well.
