All dog owners in the Town must obtain a license for their dog.
View a copy of the Dog License Application (PDF). The completed application can be emailed to dogs@burlington.org and the fee can be paid online via Invoice Cloud(Select "General Requests"). You can also print out the application and bring it or mail it to the Clerk's Office, along with payment, for processing.
A license will be issued only if the owner has evidence of a rabies vaccination that is valid as of the date of issuance. Rabies certificates can be emailed to dogs@burlington.org

The fee for a dog license is $15 for 1 year, $25 for 2 years, $35 for 3 years, the date of expiration of the license is based on the rabies expiration. The fee can be paid online via Invoice Cloud(Select "General Requests"),.
View information on proper management of pet waste. Appropriate waste collection and disposal helps prevent water pollution and human health issues, and is required by town bylaws.
